Hiatus
I’m officially announcing my hiatus. I need some time to get my head on straight so I can become a real health blogger… and because XC season and school are coming up and i’ll be too busy to go on here most likely.
Anyway, i’ll most likely come back, and when I do, the blog will be bigger and better than ever hopefully. I plan to really have this thing take off/improve...

Oyeah, i'm a fitblr.. I should blog!
Wow I haven’t updated in a while (sorry!). I’m kind of being lazy. I’m going to stop posting my workouts because that seems to really take it out of me (I write them down in my wkout journal too, so no reason to write everything down here too lol).
Things are going better. I talked to my trainer about some stuff, over-training concerns, etc. She basically told me 5 days/week of...
Update.
Yeah, I know I haven’t been on much. Not feeling up to it/no free time. Working on projects for school/freaking out over exercise food and nutrition as per usual.
Just went to the doctors Thursday, and apparently, I eat as much as a sedentary teenage girl. So, they said to cut back on exercise, and increase my intake to about 2600. Increasing my intake, i’m good with (just praying I...
9.5!!
Okay, a bit longer than my coach said I could do, but now, I can go to practice, do only 4 miles, and not feel too guilty.
-2.7 miles in 19 minutes (followed by a stretching break while I waited for my friend)
-2 minutes of jogging (i’m rounding this to .1 mile)
-4.05 mile run with my friend (appx 36 minutes)
-2.7 miles back home (this took a while. Not sure how long, but too long)

My Take On Cheat Days
Okay, so a lot of people out there say that cheat days don’t work, and that they lead to destruction down the road. A lot of people say too, that eating a little bit of treat food each day in moderation is okay. It is, but for me, the cheat day approach works better both physically and mentally.
I tried it yesterday (as per recommendation of my PT), and I really enjoyed it. Maybe it’s because...
Rest Day!
Yay, rest day!! Did some stretching, chores, and drew a little, so it was all somewhat productive. Tomorrow i’ll be back.
Also went out to dinner and treated myself to a frappucino! T’was delish!
8/8- Part II
My First Race!! (5k): Total Time: 23:24 (6:56 @ mile 1, 14:38 @ mile 2)
Now, the total time I was hoping would be a bit better, but since it was my very first race ever, I still PR’ed. The fact that the night before, we had a brutal workout, and that I lifted and ran an extra 2.2 miles that morning probably didn’t help either. It was also extremely hot and humid, and the race was 2...

I Love Running~
Yesterday’s XC Practice:
9 miles in 1 hr, 10 minutes, and 57 seconds!!!
Loop 1 (3 miles): Warm-Up
Loop 2 (3 miles): 30 seconds off, then 30 seconds on, adding 30 seconds each time until we reached 3:30. Then, went back down by 30 second increments.
Loop 3 (3 miles): Continued to go back down by 30 second increments. When we finished, we just ran the rest nice and easy.
I’m not sure about...
Reflection Time!
So, i’m getting EXTREMELY nervous about not lifting heavy. So, I’ve decided to compromise with myself. I really love boot camp, and the instructor. So, i’m going to do the class, and probably work with her after class a few more times. I’m planning to do that once a week, then, two other times a week, do NROL for abs. Then, come September, just fully make the switch to NROL...
Monday Funday!
Actually turned out to be a good workout, despite getting up at 6:21 AM to just go running. But, I got to try out the 4.05 mile route for the first time, which was cool.
XC Practice- 4.05 miles +1 extra mile after strides and drills. Then, bike ride there and back (total of about 6 miles on bike). Felt great at first. A day off (Sunday) seemed to do me some good. But, after drills, I got this...
Crap, forgot to update Saturday!
Saturday’s Workout:
1 hr (appx) of weights. Light weights, high reps, still felt fatigued. Was sore yesterday (Sunday), won’t post the whole workout, because i’m about to go to bootcamp, and afterwards, i’ll actually update on a timely fashion!
1 hr “cardio dance” class. About a half hour of dancing, 1/2 hour of strength, which I wasn’t expecting. Of...
I think i'm overtraining
God. I freaking hate all this. So confused about weights, whether I should be lifting heavy or not to get the physique I want, or lift light like my trainer says. So confused. The cardio I think has put me into a state of overtraining, and I just don’t know what to do anymore. I’m so pissed and confused, and I just need some god to come down and tell me the answer to how I can get...
Fartlek Friday's
That’s one catchy title… maybe i’ll start doing fartleks every Friday just because it sounds so super catchy…
-Run on Treadmill (35 minutes, appx 4.5 miles): 10 min intervals. (Off= 8.0, On=9.5. 0.5 Incline for everything).
Interval 1- 2 minutes off, 1 minute on, then 2 on, 2 off
Interval 2- 1 minute off, 2 minutes on
Interval 3- 2 minutes off, 1 minute on
5 minute...
Thursday's Practice
Was going to do 9 miles… then the weather sucked and I felt like crap too. So, coach gave us some lee-way and let us just run 7. About 52-ish minutes, tempo run.
Lap 1= 23:15
Lap 2= 21:30-ish (i need a watch)
Felt pretty crappy. Not horrible, but really not great either. Was so happy we didn’t do a 3rd lap. I couldn’t have handled it. Apparently, there was an air quality...

Today's Training
Personal training session today. Freaking love my trainer. She let me blow off some steam about my recent break up, and helped make me feel like not such a horrible person :) As for the training itself, it was a bit too easy for me, so i’m going to ask next time to increase the weight for a lot of the exercises. But, it was full body, and I now have a routine that I can reasonably complete...
atpeacenotinpieces asked: Hi Char! It's Victoria, same username from CC!
I Just Had A Godiva Truffle
And I liked it xD
It was delicious. Didn’t deprive, didn’t binge; it was just right :) i’m proud!

Geez I've Been a Lazy Blogger!
At least I haven’t been lazy with my workouts. I might be over-doing it. Not sure though. Ughhh, so complicated. I’m confused about my diet/weight too. Lost 1 pound after decreasing intake a lot. I’m just saying screw it now. I’m done reading labels, trying to eat uber healthy; It obviously hasn’t been doing much. So, i’m going to start eating like a normal...
